Few days ago, I got my hands on a unit of Nikon mirrorless camera, J1 and the FT1 adapter. From earlier test by digiscopers in Hongkong and other parts of the world, the V1 is a good and potential camera for digiscoping. Initially I wanted to get the V1 but the ATM machine ran out of cash - darn it!
I tested the J1 on birds and plants, some with the 300mm while some with a 1.4x TC. It is not easy to get decent and sharp photos with the teleconverter. Finally I decided to test without the TC.
